2nd Trimester

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

To be exact, ummi is currently 18th week of pregnancy. 2nd Trimester and counting..

Entering this week, alhamdulillah ummi's appetite is currently coming back, and ummi can back to cook. Before, the smell of cooked rice, seems terrible to this nose.

Something that doesn't seem or will fade away, is my backache. Big time... Couldn't stand too long, couldn't sit too long, couldn't lie down too long too..

There's one time, when we all go out together, family time, walking around zoo melaka...and the next two day, ummi found out brown spotting, similar to menses. How shock ummi was at that time, because ummi has no experienced on that kind of thing. And went to doctor to scan right away. Brown spotting is sometimes old blood (or most of the time). It could be harmless, or dangerous. Alhamdulillah baby is doing fine that time, with steady heart beat. Doctor suspect that because of the walk, that bleeding happened. Because despite that, ummi don't do any hard work like carrying amir, thanks to ayah.

So, ummi listen to the body. When we feel we need to rest, then rest. Ummi kind of, ignoring, if people said it is lazy, or pampering oneself. Because if something bad happen, it is us to carry the burden, not anyone else. It;s like ummi do everything, according to own phase, timing and capability. Ummi had once this experience, and hopefully, insyaAllah, don't want to feel it again.

But there's always a great part of every story right. This second pregnancy, ummi can feel the baby moving as early as 13 to 14 week. And now the baby sometimes wrestling in it. Comfortable huh now baby? Next few months you can only shaking a little bit due to space restriction.

And this time around, ummi feels like a little late in showing. (or maybe it is the same like amir previously). At 4 months, sometimes when ummi lie down, its like, flat. hihi..and some people (ayah included) touch the belly and goes like "tak rasa pun or tak nampak pun"...argh exactly that time feels like buying an ultrasound machine of my own. Except that, of course ummi can't afford that..hehe..

Apparently, time flies like the speed of light now. How slow you feel it is, still it is moving fast. Now ummi is an ummi to insyaAllah 2 kids. Its like the memory of amir's is still fresh, and its like yesterday ummi do the UPT, and today ummi will be 5 months in two weeks time..That make half of the pregnancy.

Being pregnant is the best thing in life. But ummi always pray the best for those who've been married and still dont have any. Because Allah knows what best for each human. And He test those who He wants to, and it is stated in Quran, that we should not declare that we are faithful enough, till we are tested.

So let's pray the best for everyone, and let's pray that we are strong enough to face whatever obstacles that Allah had promised. InsyaAllah.
