This date, i am officially a COMPETENT driver, P no more...(but i've no intention to remove the P sticker, just in case my driving is not that 'competent', so there's a reason..hehe).
My license draws a very long, memorable and tough journey. I've failed twice since i first took my license class back in 2006. And my L license dead once, and i have to repeat all that 3hours lecture, 3hours practical thing all over again. Let's make a chronology to make things easier.
2006 - i first register for driving class at Penang, near USM where i studied. Yes, i just took it only after i finished my degree, a 'wise' decision to make. That time i took both, car and motorcycle. And yes, i got my L licence.
2007 - i got worked at selangor, so i decide to just continue my lesson here, at KL.
- i failed once.
2008 - i failed twice.
- my L license dead.
- i repeat the whole thing, this time at Tangkak.
2009 - Alhamdulillah...i got my P license with just one test.
For anyone else, license is just month thing. For me, it took years...
In KL driving school, it is all about money. They thought that people here take driving school just for the sake of getting a license to drive. Meaning, people here are all capable of driving. So they take everything for granted, only care about money, and dont even know their student.
That's not me of course, i took to learn. I have no background of driving. Yet, the treated me like i do. And well, you know how roads and drivers in KL are. And some more, i got a fierce woman as my JPJ tester. And, i dont know it is a fate or destiny or coincidence, i got her as my tester for both test. And i failed both.
Those are reasons why i failed. Then i met my husband, and he teach me. Our route is at Jusco roof parking. I learnt handling, changing gear, balance at hill. I choose the next driving school at Tangkak, my hubby's hometown. There are times i went back alone to go to driving school.
Alhamdulillah, even with my learning hour is not up to 16 hours ( i think), they entitled me for pre test and JPJ test early. And Alhamdulillah i pass all with flying colours (erk?). So at last, i got my license.
This is my story of getting a license.
